Performance & Precision

The P2S is designed for high-speed, high-consistency printing. Its PMSM servo extruder delivers up to 8.5 kg of maximum extrusion force, which Bambu states is 70% more than its predecessor, while its servo architecture samples resistance and position at 20 kHz to actively detect filament grinding and clogs in real time. A high-resolution, high-frequency eddy current pressure sensor calibrates flow dynamics and enables active flowrate compensation for smooth, consistent extrusion through every corner and layer. Adaptive Airflow & Engineering Material Capability

The P2S uses an Adaptive Airflow System that draws cool air from outside the chamber for improved overhang quality and stable low-temperature filament printing, even with the door closed. It also uses a flap-controlled design to preserve heat inside the chamber when printing engineering materials, while filtering internal air through a high-performance activated carbon filter. Its extrusion system uses a hardened steel nozzle and hardened steel extruder gear, making it especially suitable for fiber-reinforced materials. The quick-swap hotend uses a simple 1-clip mechanism that lets users replace the nozzle and heatsink assembly in about 30 seconds without disconnecting wiring. Additional refinements include a flat base plate for easier cleaning, integrated lift handles for safer transport, and shatter-safe front glass designed to resist shattering.

The P2S includes built-in 8 GB eMMC storage, a USB port, touchscreen control, mobile app control, and PC app control. It works with Bambu Studio and supports third-party slicers that export standard G-code, such as Super Slicer, PrusaSlicer, and Cura, though some advanced features may not be available outside Bambu’s own software ecosystem. Supported operating systems include macOS, Windows, and Linux. Wireless connectivity is provided through dual-band Wi-Fi; Ethernet is not available.
